Skos Studio offers open workshops open to everyone, as well as offering bespoke options for special events and closed events, along with workshops or just with the hire of the space itself. We have an ongoing offer of craft classes, relaxing and creative workshops for everyone, which we expand seasonally with an offer of collaborating artists. You will find classes in ceramics, cyanotypes, alcohol ink painting or watercolour painting, among others.
Open events
Under Events you will find workshops and events from our regular offer (see the list of available options below) and those organised as guests by various artists or organisations.
On the page of each event you will find a description of the respective classes, registration information, contact details for the presenter/organiser and a link to social media or a page where you can purchase tickets. Skos Studio does not act as an intermediary for ticket sales or a booking system, but we will do our best to make it easy for you to contact the presenters of the respective workshops!
Special and closed events
Are you planning a party? Looking for an idea for a hen party, stag party, birthday party or other special occasion?
Organise an unforgettable party - whether it's a wedding anniversary, 18th birthday party, baby shower, team-building or corporate event, gender reveal, anniversary, themed evening or surprise party! Check out the list of available workshops and choose something for yourself (or get inspired :D) to organise a creative and fun-filled party that your guests will remember for a long time.
At the Slant, we have a room where we can comfortably accommodate 10 people at a large table (up to a maximum of 14-16 people). In our workshop room you have a table (up to 3m long), bluetooth speaker, screen with projector and access to an equipped kitchenette with cob coffee machine.
Or would you like to get together with friends to make dumplings, bake bread or learn latte art? Unfortunately, we will not (yet!) offer an instructor, but you will find a space here where such an intention can be successfully realised!
In the case of choosing a workshop from the permanent offer, the price of the event is set individually with the leader, in the case of renting the room only, the standard price list applies. 80zł/h (Entrance to the Studio is possible 30min before the start of the booked hour).

Sgraffito
Sgraffito (Italian for "to scratch") is a unique way of decorating ceramics, which involves applying contrasting layers of coloured engobe or paint to the pots and then precisely scratching out the design to reveal the hidden layer. This artistic method produces original and striking decorations - you can create bowls, plates or tiles with your own drawing!
This is an approx. 2-hour class where you will receive pre-prepared vessels and all the materials needed to decorate them. After the class, the works will be dried, glazed and fired by us so that after 2-3 weeks you can enjoy a fully usable dish (yes, you can put it in the dishwasher ;)).

Watercolour effect on ceramics
Do you dream of creating a unique vessel that is not only beautiful but also fully functional? Join us for a ceramic painting workshop, during which you will discover the fascinating world of ceramic pigments and learn about painting techniques to achieve a watercolour-like effect on ceramics.
These are approximately 2-hour classes where you will receive pre-fired vessels and all the materials needed to decorate them. After the class, the works will be glazed and fired by us so that you can enjoy a fully usable dish after 2-3 weeks (yes, you will be able to put it in the dishwasher ;)).

Alcoholic ink painting
Alcohol ink - a subtle marble effect or a splash of colour? Or perhaps both?
Alcohol ink is an extremely striking medium that allows you to create unique images on smooth surfaces such as synthetic paper, glass or ceramics. By spilling, blowing or mixing colours, you can achieve both delicate effects and dynamic, abstract compositions full of colour. This is an excellent choice for those looking for a creative way to relax, create DIY decorations or who want to try a modern technique fluid art.
A 1 to 2h class where you will receive ceramic tiles, a set of coloured alcohol inks and the accessories needed for painting. After the class, the works will be fixed with varnish or epoxy resin (additional option). In the second case, the works gain permanence and can be used as mug coasters, but collection is only possible after 7 days from the date of the class.

Cyanotype
Discover the magic of cyanotypes - a photography workshop with a touch of alchemy!
Learn one of the oldest photographic techniques and create your own unique prints in the distinctive blue hue. During the workshop you will learn how to prepare and expose compositions to capture images on paper! This is the perfect opportunity to combine art, experimentation and relaxation in a creative atmosphere.
A 1 to 2h class where you will receive paper prepared for exposure and elements (plants, napkins) to create your composition (we also encourage you to bring your own). After the class the works can be taken home immediately.

Post-cyanotype workshop
Based on cyanotype prints, this session is all about relaxing, exploring colours and simply enjoying the artistic process with metallic and regular watercolours and fine art pencils. No pressure, just vibes, relaxation and a chance for pure creative expression.
A 1 to 2h class where you can bring your previous work or choose from prints available from the instructor. During the class you are given watercolours and thin pens to add depth and colour to your work. After the class your work can be taken home straight away.

Make your own vessel
This workshop is dedicated to those who dream of their own unique vessel - one that no one else has! During the class you will create a vessel in any shape according to your own vision.
Classes last approximately 2h. All materials and clay without limits are included in the price. The finished mug will be burned on the so-called "mug". biscuit (i.e. the first, raw firing). You will have the opportunity to glaze your work afterwards - you can do this in person during the next glazing workshop or take the option of having your work glazed by the instructor (transparent/transparent glaze, for an extra charge).

Writing poems on ceramics
Poetry can give meaning and depth to the everyday - it freezes moments, allows you to express emotions and create lasting memories. In the workshop "Workshop on writing poems on ceramics" you will combine the magic of words with craftsmanship. You will create a unique ceramic object - a mug, a plate or a tile - decorating it with your own poem, a literary quote or a text that is important to you. This is a time for creative relaxation and conversation about the role of poetry in life. The meeting will start with refreshments: each participant will receive a glass of wine.
